Casa Tesoro de Atenas is a nice 120 m2 house, located on a large finca of over 16.000 square meters. The garden has for 70 % prime quality coffee which is sold to the local coffee coop in Atenas, many fruit trees, banana plants and other plants with many flowers. The location is very nice. The views of the ocean is incredible and the altitude is around 880 meters at which you have daytime temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees Celsius and 16 to 20 degrees Celsius at night time. This small and lovely town belongs to the province of Alajuela and is located to the northwest of San José. It is especially popular for retirees due to its great climate. In Atenas you can find numerous grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacists, and drugstores. There is also an international school nearby. Alajuela is reachable within 40 minutes and the next beach can be reached by car within one hour. Due to its location between the beaches and the big city of San José, Atenas is very popular.
