Casa Miravalles de San Isidro is the perfect compliment to the wonderful climate in San Isidro. The interior of the home measures 222 square meters, it is a 4 bedroom, 3 full bath with spacious living room and kitchen opening to the views of the valley. The covered patio is under the same roof and totals 557 square meters of interior and exterior living space for enjoyment all year round- regardless rain or shine. The new home, finished in April of 2010 is located on four acres of fertile mountain and valley view property. It is situated 5 km north of San Isidro del General in the area known as Miravalles, Perez Zeledon, just over the small mountain range south of the capital, San Jose. On the property, you can enjoy soft valley breezes and 70 degree weather all year long. From the house you can relax to the tranquil sounds of the Quebradas River and spend hours gazing at the flocks of toucans, parrots, and scores of tropical birds that feed throughout the day in the valley. The Quebradas valley and river serve as the main source of water for the town. The property offers a small spring that feeds into one of the many nearby creeks. There are dozens of fruit trees along with two dozen chickens and several geese that provide farm fresh eggs. A maid and groundskeeper, who live nearby, can be hired to maintain the property and animals when you are away. The home has been upgraded with hot water throughout the house, a washer, a dryer, high speed internet , satellite TV and motion sensing flood lights around the house. The expansive patio is covered with lots of room for you to hang your hammocks or for meditating, stretching, reading, or just relaxing and watching the birds. If it happens to be raining you can get in touch with your endorphins on the elyptical machine, the walker/runner, or on the all-in-one gym. If you like dogs, because it is all fenced in, they can roam about or stay safely attached to runners on steel cables. Grassy areas surround the house. The covered patio allows ample room to ride a bicycle under cover from the rain. Along the perimeter are several paths up and around the house, the orchards, and the goat\\\\\\\'s enclosure and chicken coups. After coming back from a day at the beach you can barbecue or unwind with a campfire under the starlit skies. The Manuel Antonio National Park is about 1 hour away on the newly paved Costanera Highway. The booming beach town and beautiful beaches of Uvita and Ojochal are also a bit less than an hour from San Isidro. The Perez Zeledon region is known for being very safe. Quebradas and Miravalles are referred to as the Escazu of Perez, a desirable mountain retreat. The entrance is private and closed to the public by a tall double wooden gate with remote control and automatic operation and a two-way communicator. If you are concerned about the proximity of medical attention, we are 5km from the 24 hr Urgencias Clinic and the regional hospital is in the center of town. The Fudebol reserve is about 2km away. There you can find white faced capuchin monkeys as well as many varieties of birds, butterflies, and other local wildlife species. To keep things in perspective of how far yet close we are: there is a McDonalds in San Isidro 5km away. The movie theater in town and dozens of restaurants and bars provide a sufficient amount of night life for those who crave it. If you don\\\\\\\'t drive, or don\\\\\\\'t want to deal with driving around, taxis are abundant and can come to the house, and the bus stop is 200 meters away and only costs around 25 cents to get to town. The Quebradas Elementary school is within 5 minutes walking distance. The high school is down the road, two private schools, Escuela y Colegio del Valle and Asuncion are also great options for parents and their children.
