By car you need about 3 hours to get to San Jose, by bus 4 hours. Puerto Viejo is very touristy. Casa Cocles Verde offers the relaxation that you deserve just off downtown. Nevertheless you have the benefit of good restaurants and excursion possibilities. You meet a lot of world wide travelers, find all necessary services and yet – this is a quite remote area of Costa Rica.
