Location / Vicinity

Hotel Playa Chiquita has a great location, lots of privacy and peace, but shops in Puerto Viejo in walking or cycling distance. The hotel is a few minutes outside of Puerto Viejo on your way to Manzanillo close to the beach of Playa Chiquita. Grab your bike and ride within minutes to Puerto Viejos and the beaches. Smaller errands you do in Puerto Viejo. Here you have also a bank, physician, pharmacy and hardware store. Several buses leave daily to San Jose or Limon. By car you need about 3 hours to get to San Jose, by bus 4 hours. Puerto Viejo is very touristy. The hotel offers the relaxation and nature feeling that you deserve just off downtown. Nevertheless you have the benefit of good restaurants and excursion possibilities. You meet a lot of world wide travelers, find all necessary services and yet – this is a quite remote area of Costa Rica.
