The house is a few minutes outside of Cahuita and 15 minutes from Puerto Viejo. Grab your bike and ride within minutes to the center of Cahuita or to Puerto Viejo and the beaches. In Cahuita there are several small grocery stores and restaurants. Smaller errands you do in Puerto Viejo. Here you have also a bank, physician, pharmacy and hardware store. Several buses leave daily to San Jose or Limon. By car you need about 3 hours to get to San Jose, by bus 4 hours. Puerto Viejo is very touristy. Casa Los Angeles de Cahuita offers the relaxation that you deserve just off downtown. Nevertheless you have the benefit of good restaurants and excursion possibilities. You meet a lot of world wide travelers, find all necessary services and yet – this is a quite remote area of Costa Rica.
