Overlooking the Marina Ballena National Park, Ecolodge Uvita Verde is near many other natural treasures such as Corcovado National Park, Caño Island Biological Reserve, the mangroves of the Sierpe and Terraba rivers, beaches like Uvita, Dominical, Playa Hermosa, Costa Ballena, Playa Ventanas and many other breathtaking scenarios. This unique and turn key Ecolodge features a main house and ten bungalows set in a beautiful jungle setting about a mile from the beach. The Bungalows receive the ocean breezes from Costa Rica’s Pacific Ocean yet retain the sounds and views of the jungle. Each bungalow can accommodate up to 4 people. There are six individual bungalows – one of which has a King-size bed -- and four bungalows (two pairs) that share a common door, enabling them to become one larger unit; great for families or groups. Each bungalow has a private bathroom, hot water, and a deck with stunning views of the ocean and/or the jungle. The main house has a reception area with a small gift shop, a large dining area, reading room/conference room with a large TV, balcony with beautiful views, a massage room, and space to just relax. Wireless Internet is available throughout the complex. The Ecolodge is uniquely equipped for training swim teams and other small groups such as yoga groups; having a 25 meter lap pool, small conference room, yoga mats, as well as kayaks and bikes for rent. The ten bungalows offer all the comforts of home (fan or A/C, TV, fridge, hairdryer, hot water for tub or shower, wireless Internet). Each bungalow of the Ecolodge Uvita Verde has a small deck that looks towards the ocean while being surrounded by primary and secondary jungle as well as fruit trees scattered around. You can view the ocean and the whales from the balcony on the main floor of the main house, and from some of the bungalows (in season).

Ecolodge Uvita Verde has a great and exclusive location, overlooking the Marina Ballena National Park. The distance to the next highway (Costanera) is 2.5 kilometers. The closest beaches can be reached within 10 minutes driving time. Within 30 minutes, you can reach the surfer paradise of Playa Dominical. San Isidro is reachable in one hour. There you can find a hospital, a brand-new mall and various banks, restaurants and shops. The prospective marina of Golfito can be attained in about 1.5 hours. A further project is also the international airport of Palma Norte. This town can be reached in less than 40 minutes.
