Casa Atenas Rinea is a new upscale 360 square meter house, which has it all. The house has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Atenas belongs to the province of Alajuela and is located on the northwest of San José. It is especially popular for retirees because of its great climate. In Atenas you can find numerous grocery stores, restaurants, medics and drugstores. There is also an international school nearby. You can reach Alajuela within 40 minutes and the next beach within one hour by car. Due to this location between the beaches and the big city San José, Atenas is very popular. The Pacific beaches can be reached even faster, when the new highway to Caldera will be finished in 2010. In the future Pacific beaches can be reached within 20minutes and San José within 15 minutes.
