Finca San Vito is a beautiful and affordable farm with stunning views of the Baru Volcano, the Talamanca Mountains and the surrounding landscape. The former coffee farm offers an ideal topography and can be used at nearly 90% for construction projects. The farm borders a public and paved road and also features internal gravel roads throughout the whole farm. The front part of the property has a slight hillside situation with an internal road created as serpentine leading to the bottom of the farm, where you find a small lake. The lake was made by damming the creek which runs through this part of the farm. In this area you find slight hills overgrown by coffee and areas with natural building sites. The center of San Vito is just 10 driving minutes away. San Vito is a small sleepy town in the mountains of Coto Brus. The small town was founded by Italians and formed by coffee cultivation. You can reach the border of Panama within a 30-40 minutes, Ciudad Neily within one hour and San Isidro del General in 1.5-2 hours. The closest beaches are Playa Zancudo, Playa Pavones or Golfito, which are reachable within 2.5 hours. Affordable and custom free products can be purchased in Paso Canoas, right next to the border to Panama or in Golfito. Paso Canoas and the future International Airport in Palmar Norte, expected to be finished in 2010 are one driving hour away. In San Vito you find also a private school where pupils spek English, Spanish and Italian. The climate is very pleasant and similar to the climate in famous Atenas. Temperatures are around 26°C. San Vito can also be used as good starting point for trips to the botanic garden Las Cruces, the Nationalpark La Amistad with the Volcano Baru, to the hot springs of Agua Caliente and to Panama.
