Terreno Pinilla Junquillal is located near Junquillal, south of Tamarindo, in the western part of Guanacaste. This object has an idyllic and ideal location, with beaches like Playa Grande, Playa Avellana or Brasilito being reachable quickly and easily. Tamarindo especially offers a wide array of conveniences such as grocery shops, banks, shopping centers, gyms, bank, restaurants, bars, and drugstores, to mention only a few. There are other eco-friendly activities including watching turtles during their nesting season at night, diving, snorkeling, body surfing, zip-lining, estuary trips, horseback riding and fishing. The district of Tamarindo has a population of 3 525 and can swell to 5 000 people during the tourist season. The main attractions are surfing and eco-tourism. Playa Tamarindo is a long beach, with excellent waves near the mouth of the estuary. Currents can be strong, especially on a falling tide. The town offers high recreational value and the town Liberia is only 55 minutes away, offering a shopping mall and an international airport. The main incoming flights are from the United States. From San José requires 5-6 hours by car. With a domestic flight you can reach Tamarindo within an hour. The once bumpy street in Tamarindo is now paved. Streets leading to neighboring beaches like Brasilito area are also in good condition and well-paved. |
