The property around Casa Aguita de Atenas was previously a coffee finca, with crops of Jocotes, Mangos, lots of banana trees and two types of Plantains. The house is just 350 meters from the road between Atenas and Palmares. The private road is relatively steep, crossed by a little creek, which means an 4x4 vehicle is necessary (recommended anyway in Costa Rica).
