Coffee Business Tarrazu is a Costa Rica coffee business since 1978. The total area of the farm is 664 hectares. 300 hectares are in production. It produces around 6500 fanegas coffee per year. The Beneficio receives 50 000 fanegas per year. It has a capacity for 60 000 fanegas and two roasters. Electricity comes from own hydroelectric power plants with 148 kw and 65 kw each. There is an official survey approved by ICE (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad) for power generation of 1.8 Mega Watts with a possible monthly profit of $77 000. Business permits are until 2015. There is also stone pit of 24 hectares.

Coffee Business Tarrazu is located in the area of San Marcos de Tarrazu, which is part of San Jose. It is located in the central part of the country and borders the provinces of Alajuela, Heredia, Cartago, Limon and Puntarenas. The area is famous for its great coffee farming conditions.
