Casa Reina de Isidro is located just a few minutes from San Isidro del General. The city is located in a fertile valley at about 600 meters above sea level. It is often a point of transit for travelers en route to nearby Chirripo National Park or the South Pacific Coast. Modern hotels, restaurants and internet cafes are plentiful, and travelers can stock up on food and sundries in the town’s supermarkets and pharmacies. It is a small but economically growing town, with the demand for living space rising. A pending future project is the international airport in Palmar Norte. You can reach San José by air or by car. Important shopping you can do in the nearby town or in the new shopping mall. In town, you can find banks, restaurants, bars and smaller stores. The city is also home to some very qualified lawyers. Most real estate transactions in the area are handled here. Most foreigners who live in the area go to San Isidro at least once a week for shopping and taking care of business. San Isidro also has a private bilingual school called Escuela del Valle.
