Terreno Amistad Verde are 53.3 hectares is located just 1 km below the Parque International La Amistad. It has river frontage with a clean running river coming right out of the national park. The land is made up for 50% cattle pastures in the lower sector, and 50% mature secondary forest in parts of the upper area. This is gently sloping land, which is around 70% useable. At the bottom of the property there is a good size corral that is newly constructed. In the distance to the back of the corral is the original ranch house. It is still in good condition and with a little TLC would make good housing for workers or caretakers, also a temporary residence while building. The property features mostly gentle hills in the lower mid portions with several natural building sites and lots of good agricultural land. It is currently being used for cattle. There is an internal road that was cut on the back side of the property that creates an access from the bottom to the top. In the mid to upper areas there are portions of buildable lands on the edges of the forest that can be accessed from the internal road. There are 2 good size springs that originate from the property and produce plenty of water volume for agriculture or a few homes. From most points on this property are wide open views looking west over the Valley General. You can actually see the Rio General below in the distance. Also looking south over the San Vito area and directly into the Talamanca mountains and the Parque Amistad to the back. Because of the closeness to the park and the river frontage corridor, wild life is thriving in this area.

Terreno Amistad Verde features a great location and is situated 1 kilometer below the Nationalpark La Amistad, 45 minutes from Buenos Aires an 45 minutes from San Vito. San Vito is a small sleepy town in the mountains of Coto Brus. The small town was founded by Italians and formed by coffee cultivation. You can reach the border of Panama within one houre and San Isidro del General in 1.5-2 hours. The closest beaches are Playa Zancudo, Playa Pavones, Playa Ballenas or Golfito, which are reachable within 2-2.5 hours. Affordable and custom free products can be purchased in Paso Canoas, right next to the border to Panama or in Golfito. Paso Canoas and the future International Airport in Palmar Norte, expected to be finished within the next years are one driving hour away. In San Vito you find also a private school where pupils speak English, Spanish and Italian. The climate is very pleasant and similar to the climate in famous Atenas. Temperatures are around 26°C. The farm can also be used as good starting point for trips to the nearby National park La Amistad, the botanic garden Las Cruces, the Volcano Baru on the other side of the border, to the hot springs of Agua Caliente and to several popular cities of Panama. Because of the future International Airport of Palmar Norte and the expected boost for tourism in this area, Finca San Vito has a great location with good possibilities of an increased value.
