Finca Teca Verde has a size of 97 hectare with a teak wood coverage of 95%. So 76 hectare land provides teak plants. Fifty percent of the trees are between 9 and 10 years old. One hectare provides approximately 1000 trees. Due to the coverage and the age of the trees, this offer is quite attractive and frequently requested. Only the value of the teak wood covers the price of this offer. Teak wood should be cut down when it reaches an age of 20-25 years in order to maximize profit. Smaller diameters yield smaller profits. Teak farms like this are getting more and more attractive as green investments, but they also become more and more rare.

Finca Teca Verde is located in the province of Puntarenas, close to Playa Herradura and the Pacific Ocean. By car, it takes about 2h to San José. Jacó and Orotina are attainable within a few minutes. Smaller shops can be found in Herradura. The nature reserve Carara is just 10-15 minutes away. In Jacó you may find a variety of shops and supermarkets. The access road to the property is in a good condition and passable with a 4-wheel car.
