Location / Vicinity
Optimal location! Lots of privacy, but shops in Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo in walking or cycling distance. Cocles Resort is outside of Puerto Viejo on your way to Manzanillo near Playa Cocles. Grab your bike and ride within minutes to Puerto Viejos and Playa. Smaller errands you do in Puerto Viejo. Here you have also a bank, physician, pharmacy and hardware store. Several buses leave daily to San Jose or Limon. By car you need about 3 hours to get to San Jose, by bus 4 hours. Puerto Viejo is very touristy. Casa Verde offers the relaxation that you deserve just off downtown. Nevertheless you have the benefit of good restaurants and excursion possibilities. You meet a lot of world wide travelers, find all necessary services and yet – this is a quite remote area of Costa Rica. As the house was built within the maritime zone, it is “concession” land. The current owner is in possession of all necessary documents. Your very own spring water guarantees your water supply. The house has a land line phone. You access the hotel via an unpaved road.
