Finca Rio Barranca is part of a big development project close to the city of Puntarenas. The whole project offers an enormous potential for both private projects and for commercial ones. Location / Vicinity
Finca Rio Barranca is located close to the city Puntarenas at a river mouth. It belongs  to the province Puntarenas. Many of the lots are located close to the river. But almost all lots offer stunning views to the ocean. From Finca Rio Barranca you can reach San José in about 1,5 - 2 hours. In the future when the new highway to Caldera is in place, the journey time will be reduced considerably. Puntarenas provides plenty of Clubs and Hotels, a hospital and an important harbor for tourists. The harbor connects Puntarenas with the peninsula of Nicoya, where you can find the popular and beautiful beaches. A construction project for condominiums has been started close to the harbor of Puntarenas lately. There is also a Private Club in the neighborhood. This club was recently purchased by Spanish investors. Not too close, but still in the neighborhood, there is another construction project planned. This project includes a marina with hotels and a golf course near Playa Tivives. The road access is made of crushed rock and have drainage. Access to electricity is available. Finca Rio Barranca doesn’t have installations for telephone mainlines and water yet.
Condition
The farm is partly developed. Several roads made of crushed rock are already in place. There is already access to electricity. Further investments are necessary for the installation of water and telephone lines.
