Central Valley

The central valley is the home from most of the expatriates. It consists of the districts like San José, Alajuela, Cartago and Heredia.

  Alajuela

Alajuela is a province in the North of Costa Rica and in fact doesn't offer a direct access to the coastal zone, but owns a lot of pristine nature, a lot of big and popular national parks, several vulcano regions and the popular Arenal lake.

  Guanacaste

In Guanacaste you find a lot of touristic hotspots, gorgeous beaches and a dry, tropical climat. Since a few years there has been happening a real estate boom in this region.

  North of Puntarenas

The north of the province Puntarenas offers numerous protected areas, national parks and excellent beaches. As in Guanacaste in this region there has been a steady growth in the field of trouism and real estate.

  South of Puntarenas

Exotic, colorful birds, the cristal clear, ligh blue sea and the green nature turn the southern part of the province of Puntarenas to a tropical dream. It is as well, due to its colored underwater world, the best area for diving.

  Limon
